PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulation deodorizing apparatus and a method therefor, capable of facilitating prevention of odorizing from a grating drainage catch basin and preventing traffic interference by melting snow around the catch basin during winter season. SOLUTION: This apparatus comprises a steel-plate body (12) having a roughly rectangular contour when viewed from plan, and a heat insulation material (16) mounted on the underside of the body.
