<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power without damaging operability by solving the problem that battery usable time is short in driving a portable information processor having an input part such as a keyboard by the battery. <P>SOLUTION: A 1st processing block 1 is connected to an information input block 97 including the keyboard 201 and then connected to a 2nd processing block 98 to which a display part 2 having a memory effect is connected. The block 1 starts the 2nd processing block 98 in a stop state corresponding to the input of the keyboard or the like, the display of the display part 2 is changed, and then the power supply or operations of both are stopped. At the same time, the display of the display part 2 is held by the memory effect.
