PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic composition freed from the influence of the component to be stored and markedly improved in discoloration resistance and to provide an article thereof such as a container or a wrapping material. SOLUTION: There are provided a plastic composition prepared by adding 0.05-5.0 wt.%, in total, of a combination of the two components of 100 pts.wt. (A) silver antibacterial agent and 1-100 pts.wt. at least one member selected from among a purine base, a pyrimidine base, free bases thereof, and thiabendazole and an article at least part of which is made from the composition.
