摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means of performing insulation treatment to the edge face of an iron core having extremely excellent insulation properties, corrosion resistance, adhesion, heat resistance, effect of improving magnetic properties or the like without performing pretreatment such as degreasing cleaning and annealing at low temperatures in a short time. SOLUTION: The edge face of the iron core is provided with an insulation film consisting of a dry film of a pure silicon polymer, a denatured silicon polymer and/or a mixed silicon polymer as silicon compounds, and having a mean film thickness of≥0.5μm, a voltage resistance of≥30 V, and a heat resistance in the air of≥400°C. In the production method therefor, after the formation of the iron core, immersion treatment or spray treatment is performed by using one or more kinds selected from a pure silicon polymer, a denatured silicon polymer and/or a mixed silicon polymer as an insulation film agent.
