摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an inkjet recording paper, which is favorable in ink absorbency, has high gas resistance under the condition that a dye ink is employed and high color developing properties under the condition that a pigment ink is employed. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method for an inkjet recording paper for coating an ink receiving composition to be applied on a support, after a priming composition to be coated having a water-soluble binder and a water-soluble multivalent metal salt as essential components is applied on the support with a coating device selected from the group consisting of a blade coater, a rod coater, a film transfer roll coater, a gravure coater, an air knife coater and a curtain coater, the ink receiving composition to be coated is applied on the priming composition. Further, the preferable water-soluble binder is starch and its derivative and the preferable water-soluble multivalent metal salt is water-soluble magnesium salt. Furthermore, the preferable spread of the water-soluble multivalent metal salt on the support is 0.1 g/m<SP>2</SP>or more and 2.0 g/m<SP>2</SP>or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
