PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame for a panel high in positioning accuracy with an excellent finished state without causing a lowering of strength, and dispensing with a welding process. SOLUTION: An end part E1 of one constituent member 21 related to jointing is provided with stepped-down parts 211e, 211g stepped down in the plate thickness dimension of the constituent member 21, to form an engaging projecting part 211f flush with the end part E1. An end part F1 of the other constituent member 24 related to jointing is formed with a recessed part 241d with one side formed as an open side to the end part F1 to allow the engaging projecting part 211f to be fittingly mounted therein, and provided with insert-fitting receiving parts into which the stepped-down parts 211e, 211g can be insert-fitted. The stepped-down parts 211e, 211g are insert-fitted into the insert-fitting receiving parts, and the engaging projecting part 211f is fittingly mounted into the recessed part 241d to integrally joint both constituent members orthogonally flush with each other.
