Expansion joint sealing for roofs

The seal consists of two strip like flat side sections which lie on the roof, and of a U-shaped centre section covering the joint and connected to the sides. The centre section is outwardly arched, and on either side ot it, projecting away from the construction member, a bridge is positioned. This is almost at right angles to the side sections and runs over the whole length of the joint. It projects above the sides by at least half the height of the centre section. All sections of the seal pref. consists of polychloroprene rubber. The seal covers expansion joints in flat roofs, which are constructed from pre-fabricated concrete parts and covered with e.g. a heat-insulating hard polyurethane foam.
