<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To edit a photographed image more efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: When an image selected as an edition object is subjected to a specified edition, a user depresses a menu button 62 to display a tool select menu 71. At the time of selecting a favorite pen tool among those presented on a pen tool list 81 being displayed when an input pen 17-2 touches a pen tool select button 72, the user moves the input pen 17-2 while touching the pen point to the display 16.
