<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filament break monitoring system capable of informing a monitor device of a lighting unit having the filament break without setting the unique ID information in the lighting unit of which the filament break information of a lamp unit is given to the monitor device. <P>SOLUTION: This filament break monitoring system comprises two or more lighting units 1-6 arranged along the road and the like, and the monitor device 7 for monitoring the filament break, the lighting unit having the filament break in its lamp unit transmits the predetermined numerical data '0' as the filament break information, and an adjacent lighting unit transmits the numerical data obtained by adding '1' to the received numerical data, whereby the numerical data '0' is relayed while successively increased to be transmitted to the monitor device 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
