PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector that can detect the position of a moving body even if noise is superimposed on a weak voltage signal from a detection section in the position detection of the moving body. SOLUTION: A comparator 25 compares a voltage signal from the side of a resistor 21a that is transmitted to a non-inverted input terminal 25a through an electric wire 23a with a voltage signal from the side of a resistor 21b that is transmitted to a non-inverted input terminal 23b through an electric wire 23b for calculation, and outputs a specific voltage level signal according to the result. A variable termination resistor 27 reduces input impedance in the non-inverted input terminal 25a of the comparator 25 by terminating the electric wire 23a. A fixed termination resistor 29 reduces input impedance in the non- inverted input terminal 25b of the comparator 25 by terminating the electric wire 23b. In the variable termination resistor 27 and fixed termination resistor 29, a resistance value is nearly the same as that of resistors 21a and 21b. The variable termination resistor 27 and fixed termination resistor 29 are arranged near the comparator 25, or are incorporated into the comparator 25. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
