PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester sheet having heat resistance capable of being used for a food container for heating, and also excellent in transparency and secondary processability. SOLUTION: This polyester resin having diol constitution units and dicarboxylic acid constitution units is characterized by having the diol constitution units having 10-60 mol % cyclic acetal skeleton and the dicarboxylic acid units having 50-100 mol % 6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid units.
