The system comprises an edge plank (1) and a component for coupling it to the upright of a scaffolding construction. The coupling has a hook which hooks onto the main sides (3) of the plank. The edge plank has an opening (21,23), which has a first part (25), through which during coupling the hook can be pushed by movement of the edge plank in a direction crossways to the main sides over the hook. The opening has a second part (27) connecting to the first part, in which the hook comes directly from the first part by displacement of the edge plank in a direction parallel to the main sides. The second part has such dimensions that the hook cannot be taken out of this part of the opening by displacement in a direction crossways to the main surfaces of the edge plank. |
