An auxiliary device for placing a laryngeal mask 40 for anaesthetisation comprises a handle 10, a fixing sleeve 15, a pushing rod 20 and a soft sleeve 30. The pushing rod 20 is a flexible and elongate metallic rod, has on one end thereof the soft sleeve 30 which has at its front end a forked opening 31 and on its bottom a bottom poker 32. The other end of the pushing rod 20 is bent through 90{. When the handle 10 is connected with the pushing rod 20, the flexible pushing rod 20 is extended into an air inlet pipe 41 of the laryngeal mask 40 to abut against the bottom of the larynx cover and push it forwardly by means of the bottom poker 32 so that the forked opening 31 of the soft sleeve 30 abuts on a protrusion on an annular rubber pipe (44) in the laryngeal mask 40. The laryngeal mask is pushed into a curved shape to ease positioning. The handle 10 and the air inlet pipe 41 are connected by the fixing sleeve 15, so that the laryngeal mask is secured to the auxiliary device. The fixing sleeve 15 can be removed once the larynx cover 40 has been positioned, the pushing rod 20 being drawn out by a physician or nurse. |
