PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processor in which image processing accuracy can be improved by recognizing or designating an effective image area to apply image processing.

SOLUTION: A control part 11 makes an image analytic part 17 perform image analysis, recognizes a boundary between an area inside an exposure field and an area outside the exposure field (exposure field end) from the analysis result and sets the area inside the exposure field not including the boundary as an effective image area to apply image processing.
