摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device of supplying assist gas in a laser beam machining device in which the machining efficiency of a work is improved by suppressing a plasma generated between the work and a laser beam machining head during a laser beam machining. <P>SOLUTION: A first and a second separation tanks 18 and 19 are connected to a compressor 11 via piping 13 and a first and a second branching pipes 14 and 15. A laser beam machining head 24 is connected to the first and the second separating tanks 18 and 19 via a first and a second discharging pipes 20 and 21 and a supplying pipe 23. Compressed air is supplied to the first separation tank 18 from the compressor 11 via the pipe 13 and the first branching pipe 14 when a second electromagnetic valve 17 and a third electromagnetic valve 34 are closed and a first and a fourth electromagnetic valves 16 and 35 are opened. Carbon dioxide is removed from the supplied compressed air, the compressed air is supplied to the work from the laser machining head 24 via the first discharging pipe 20, a shuttle valve 22 and the supplying tube 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
