PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly adjust a caulking hole, a caulking claw and the angle position in a short time in a caulking device to caulk a gear member to a drum for forming an image such as a copier and a printer. SOLUTION: This caulking device to caulk a cylindrical member into a thin-walled cylinder comprises a rotating means, a plurality of detecting means installed at positions deviated by the same angle to the axis, and a control means to give a stop command when the detecting means are turned on at the same time. In a method and a device for adjusting the angle, the position of the caulking hole of the cylindrical member fed at random angular position is correctly determined in a short time.
