COLORED MELAMINE FOAM AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored melamine foam made to have a desired density and colored homogeneously and a method of manufacturing the same, by mixing a required coloring material in the material of a melamine foam, by injecting this material into a required molding tool with the quantity thereof controlled intentionally and by foaming it under volumetric restriction. SOLUTION: The colored melamine foam having an external contour shape conforming with the internal contour shape of the required molding tool 12 and also constituted of a three-dimensional netlike skeleton being homogeneous and free of nonuniformity of color is obtained by the method wherein the material M of the melamine foam to which the required coloring material 16 is added and which is in the quantity controlled intentionally is injected into the molding tool 12 and by foaming it under the volumetric restriction.
