PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the operation of a manual transmitter even when intalling positions thereof are low. SOLUTION: The hydrant apparatus has a box type case body 2 which is provided with a manual transmitter 7a for emergency alarm by the push button operation and opens a hydrant door for extinguishing fires and pulls out a hose with a nozzle housed in the case body to extinguish fires. An inclined mounting surface 25 with a specified angle of inclination is formed at an upper corner position on the front of the case body 2 and the manual transmitter 7a is mounted upward askew on the inclined mounting surface 25.
