PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy wire for welding which permits stable arc welding by assuring good feedability even in the state that the wire is wound like a coil. SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy wire for welding is an aluminum alloy wire for welding wound like a coil, in which the residual tension on the loop side surface of the coil winding is a tensile stress.
