PURPOSE: Structure for horizontally moving print paper of a printer is provided to install various articles easily by mounting the article with detaching and attaching a moving plate, and to simplify the structure of the printer by horizontally moving the moving plate on the placing plate. CONSTITUTION: A printer comprises a moving plate(10) placing print paper, having movement guide rollers(11) at both sides and plural uneven fitting grooves longitudinally formed in the lower part, and horizontally moving on a placing plate(20); a detecting unit formed in the placing plate to detect the moving plate; a belt guide hole(23) penetrating the placing plate longitudinally; belt support rollers formed at both sides of the belt guide hole; an auxiliary belt support roller formed in the lower part of the placing plate; a timing belt(40) supported by the belt support roller and the auxiliary belt support roller, and engaged with the fitting groove; a timing pulley engaged with the uneven portion of the timing belt to transmit rotational force; a connecting pulley integrally formed in the timing belt and rotated; a step motor generating power by receiving power; a driving pulley formed in the rotating shaft of the step motor; and a driving timing belt connecting the driving pulley and the connecting pulley.
