<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the problem that because a given long draining time results even when cooking a small amount of rice if the draining time is set regardless of a rice cooking amount, the time to cook rice becomes long and rice cooking work efficiency sometimes becomes lower. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic rice cooker is equipped with a measuring supplying means, a rice washing portion 6 having a water level sensor 5 in which a rice washing tank 3 with the overflow hole 2 provided in the upper part thereof and a priming detector 4 are situated in a lower part than an overflow hole 2, a water supply means, a draining means, a rice draining means, a rice cooking portion 7, and an operation controlling portion 8 for operating the flow rate while the water level situated in the overflow hole 2 falls down to the original position of the priming detector 4 when draining from the rice washing tank 3. A predicted draining time is determined from the flow rate determined by the operation and a relational expression of the previously set flow rate and the draining time, and water adjusting work, which starts water supply start by the water supply means and draining stop by the draining means, is conducted when the predicted draining time comes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
