<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing filter unit for a photothermographic system which is easy to replace and easy to handle a used filter and is practical. <P>SOLUTION: This deodorizing filter unit 7 functions to adsorb odorous gas generated from a development part 3 for thermally developing a photosensitive layer of an exposed object 1 and includes: an adsorbent 72 comprising activated carbon for adsorbing odorous gas; and a casing 73 in which the adsorbent 72 is housed. The casing 73 has a filter gas inflow port 731 for the inflow of an odorous gas-containing gas and a filter gas outflow port 733 for the outflow of gas passed through the adsorbent 72, and the whole casing 73 including a handgrip 74 is made of combustible paper such as a corrugated board. Further, a contact member 75 coming in contact with the periphery of an inlet 710 of the housing 71 to clog the inlet 710 and a scattering-preventive cover 78, for preventing scattering of a solidified product S deposited on a prefilter 77, provided before the filter gas inflow port 731 are made of combustible paper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
