PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the spreading of fire which accomplishes quick and accurate extinguishing of the fire at sites starting the fire by achieving effective shapes of nozzles and proper allignments thereof within chambers in case of the outbreak of fires even within a chamber where a group of jigs for charging or discharging batteries is arranged. SOLUTION: In the fire extinguisher which is attached to the chamber space 1 and injects fire extinguishing agents from a fire extinguishing agent supply means 4 into the chamber space in case of abnormality within the chamber space, two long-sized pipe-like nozzles 40 which are grasped continuously at a specified interval from the highest to the lowest stage of the group of charging/discharging jigs while being made to face a group of injection holes 40a are arranged vertically. The fire extinguisher for the chamber space may be applied for preservation storages, thermostatic cells or the like used for holding or preserving objects other than the group of charging/discharging jigs.
