METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TOMOGRAPHIC IMAGING OF EXAMINEE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a throughput in tomographic imaging of an examinee. SOLUTION: The system is provided with: a CT gantry 30 for performing tomographic imaging of the examinee while moving on the surface of a floor in the direction of the body axis of the examinee; and a top plate supporter 50 extended downward from the ceiling on the front side of an opening on the CT gantry 30 and capable of freely attachably and detachably supporting a top plate 60 for loading the examinee on the side of the lower end. The tomographic imaging method is provided with the steps for: loading the top plate 60 and the examinee 100 on a stretcher 20 with casters and moving the stretcher to the front side of the opening on the CT gantry 30; supporting one end of the top plate 60 with the top plate supporter 50 after the stretcher is moved in; pulling out the stretcher 20 to the outside after the top plate is supported; and performing tomographic imaging of the examinee by moving the CT gantry 30 in the direction of the body axis of the examinee (arrow (a)) after the stretcher is pulled out.
