PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw driver device capable of driving a screw directly in a prepunched hole as an attachment of an electric hand tool device and to provide a method for using the screw driver. SOLUTION: This screw driver 2 is provided with a screw magazine 3 and a screw driver tool 8. A rotation driven drill tool 9 is stored movably in an axially restricted range in a hollow inner space coaxial to the screw driver tool 8, the drill tool 9 is detached from a rotation transmission position X by a clutch spring 10 for the screw driver device, the tip 11 of the drill tool is retained in a state axially separated from the screw head 7, and the screw driver tool 8 is connected to the screw head 7 so as not to rotate relatively. The shaft 12 of the drill tool 9 is provided with, at least, a radially projecting rotation transmission vane 13, and the rotation transmission vane 13 is engaged with a rotation transmission groove 14 in the rotation transmission position X of the screw driver tool 8 in the screw driving work.
