PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding wheel having durability sufficient for industrial grinding and reducing waste as much as possible in the grinding wheel having a core part for supporting solely its outer circumferential grinding wheel part inside the annular outer circumferential grinding wheel part. SOLUTION: Biodegradable resin having a specific intensity of 12 or more is used for a material of the core part 14, to provide the grinding wheel 10 having the core part 14 with the specific intensity of 12 or more, which is sufficient in being used for the grinding. In addition thereto, since the biodegradable resin is naturally decomposed by bacteria in the ground, the core part 14 of the grinding wheel 10 worn by the long-time use and unfitted to the use is crushed temperately and buried in the ground so as to be approximately completely decomposed, for example, one or two years later. This grinding wheel 10 is provided with the core part 14 for supporting solely the outer circumferential grinding wheel part 12 in the inside of the annular outer circumferential grinding wheel part 12, has the durability sufficient for the industrial grinding, and can minimize the waste.
