PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press which successively and efficiently presses works of excellent quality in a mass-productive manner when pressing a tubular end of small and short tubular works W in a swollen shape. SOLUTION: This press 1 comprises: a working table 2 having an intermittently rotating means in the same direction in which a work holder 3 group in tubular shape with both ends open which freely attaches, detaches and holds the works W is disposed horizontally parallel to each other on the same circumference in a penetrating manner; an insert station 10 having a working rod group which is freely attaches, detaches and stops the works from a rear end of a work holder at a stop point of the intermittent operation of the working table 2, while setting the stop point at the work holder 3 of the works W; pressing stations 11 and 12 of the works W held by the work holder 3; and a press die part which is provided continuous to a take-out station 14 from the work holder 3 of the works W and has an advancing/retracting means in front of the work holder 3 of the pressing stations 11 and 12.
