<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a cartridge which is physically similar, as a whole, for a variety of printer models in order to minimize the cost. <P>SOLUTION: The removable cartridge 10 for printer is substantially tubular and a plurality of engaging structures 14, totally occupying one half of the circumference or less, are formed around the circle of the end face of that tube.
