PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer an image of high quality to an expert of a remote place in real time.

SOLUTION: A medical image pickup system acquires medical image data to form unprocessed medical image data and sends this unprocessed medical image data to a remote terminal. The remote terminal receives the unprocessed medical image data to process the same and forms a medical image to display the same to the operator of the remote terminal. Further, the operator can control a picked-up image parameter used in the formation of the medical image at the remote terminal. Furthermore, the operator can control of the picked-up image parameter of the medical image pickup system. The operator of the remote terminal and the operator of the medical image pickup system can communicate with each other during the examination due to the medical image pickup system.
