PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a razor for a haircut capable of stably supplying hairs to the edge of the razor exposed at the time of cutting and moreover adjusting the combing amount of hairs, thereby performing a well-balanced haircut. SOLUTION: The razor for a haircut comprises a blade edge intermittently covered with a plurality of convex pieces to be alternately exposed and covered. The blade edge comprises grooves having bottom portions positioned lower than and parallel to the blade edge between the pairs of convex pieces for adjusting the combing amount of hairs. The pairs of convex pieces have the same semicircular shape at the portions thereof projecting from the blade edge. When the razor for a haircut is moved in a direction intersecting with hairs at the blade edge thereof at the time of cutting hairs, the hairs are branched by the apexes of the semicircular convex pieces to be divided into two, that is, toward the exposed blade edge side and groove side. As a result, the hairs guided along the peripheries of the convex pieces are eventually moved to the exposed blade edges and grooves so as to adjust the amount of hairs supplied to the exposed blade edges.
