PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage machine capable of performing upward massage and downward massage with high effectiveness. SOLUTION: This massage machine includes a pair of right and left medical treatment fingers disposed on a backrest of a chair or a bed for massaging a person to be treated, a medical treatment finger driving means for operating the medical treatment finger to massage, a massage unit loaded with the medical treatment fingers, and a unit driving means for reciprocating the massage unit along the backrest. When the massage unit moves from the waist side of the treated person to the shoulder side, the medical treatment fingers perform upward massage operation of moving toward the shoulder and simultaneously approaching each other in the massage unit, and when the massage unit moves from the shoulder side of the treated person toward the waist side, the medical treatment fingers perform downward massage operation of moving toward the waist side and simultaneously separating from each other.
