PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body supporting tool suppressing a sense of incongruity in a junction by a simple means and improving body holding performance. SOLUTION: The body supporting tool 1 is used by covering a cushion body 2 having flexibility by a sheet like covering body 3 impregnated with curing resin, abutting the cushion body 2 on a portion of the body, deforming the cushion body 2 into a shape matching the portion, and curing the covering body 3. A thin rim part 7 is formed in at least one rim part of the sheet like covering body 3. The sheet covering body 3 is joined forming an overlapping part S by vertically overlapping both end parts, and the overlapping part S is arranged in a rear face side of a sheet 11 of the cushion body 2.
