<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain jet type washer, capable of preventing unpleasant feeling such as stress or uncomfortable feeling given to the body of a user, simplifying the fitting structure of a lid, and making uniform the distribution of the grains to wash the body of the user thoroughly and surely. <P>SOLUTION: In this grain jet type washer, the grains are formed into a jet by gas to collide with the body to be washed, thereby washing the body. The washer includes a washing tub for housing the body to be washed, a number of grains colliding with the body to be washed in the washing tub, a gas blow-off part having an opening not passing the grains, but passing the gas and placing the grains on the upper side thereof, an air supply port provided at the bottom of the washing tub, and an upper lid closing the upper part of the washing tub and having a suction port. The gas in the washing tub is sucked from the suction port to put the interior of the washing tub in the negative pressure state, thereby taking the outside air from the air supply port.
