PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet device capable of realizing controlling of microvibration suitable for all the items of elimination of increasing of a viscosity of a liquid, avoiding of occurrence of bending in a nozzle, suppressing of sound noise, and facilitating of forming a driving circuit for microvibration means. SOLUTION: This liquid jet head comprises a recording head 8 having a nozzle opening 51, and a microvibration means 35 for generating microvibration of ink at the nozzle opening 51. A microvibration control signal generating means 12 generates a microvibration control signal. The microvibration control means 6 drives the microvibration means 35 based on the microvibration control signal. The microvibration control signal generating means 12 generates the microvibration control signal which is so constituted that a unit waveform 160 sequentially having a first waveform section 151 including a pulse waveform 101 generated in a first frequency and a second waveform section 152 not including the pulse waveform 101 is repeated in a second frequency.
