PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform recording in a condition that the adequate superposing order of colors is maintained in an inkjet recorder. SOLUTION: There is disclosed an inkjet recorder that obtains mixed colors by superposing a plurality of colors by moving a recording head in the main scanning direction. The arrangement of ejection heads in the recording head is determined such that a C-ink ejection head, an M-ink ejection head, a K-ink ejection head and a Y-ink ejection head are arranged in this order in a direction of separating from a standby position of the recording head. The ejection is performed in the order of the C-ink and the M-ink according to recording data by moving the recording head in the direction of separating from the standby position, and ejection is performed in the order of the Y-ink and the K-ink by moving the recording in the direction of going to the standby position according to recording data, thereby performing the recording.
