ROLL FOR FORMING BAR STOCK OF FINNED PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a work from entering into the clearance between forming roll members and to prevent the recess or the break on a pipe which is caused when the bar stock of a finned plate is formed into a c-shape in a cross section so as to round the bar stock of the finned plate in the width direction when the fin is formed on the bar stock of a plate. SOLUTION: In the roll member 3 where a groove 3B for forming a fin is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the main body 1 of a roll rotated around the axis, the groove 3B is formed on the outer peripheral surface 3A and has a ring shape to be fit to a shaft by piling a plurality of the members in the axial direction. In the forming roll for the bar stock of the finned plate which is formed like this, in the superposed surface 3C between those roll members 3, a recessed groove taking one point on the outer peripheral surface of the roll as the beginning 3D and one point on the superposed surface as the termination 3E is annularly formed along the superposed surface 3C between the roll members comprising the main body 1 of the roll.
