PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a form rolling tool which prevents any wear of a form rolling profile surface and maintains the slip-proof effect executed on the form rolling surface for a long time. SOLUTION: A large number of small projections 4 are formed on a surface of a biting part by the thermal spraying of granular metal. Since these large number of small projections are bitten in an outer circumferential surface of a work to be form-rolled, the small projections work in a slip-proof manner. The work prevents the biting part from sliding on the biting part, and a plurality of profiles can be form-rolled with high accuracy. Further, the granular metal mainly consists of tungsten carbide, and the small projections formed on the surface of the biting part are very hard and have excellent wear resistance. The slip-proof effect of the work by the small projections can be maintained for a long time, and as a result, a form rolling tool of sufficiently long service life is obtained.
