STEEL PLASTIC INTEGRALLY PAINT FINISH METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paint finish method for an automobile body by which the curability and the adhesivity of a top paint film are made compatible on both members of a steel sheet part and a plastic part simultaneously and excellent designability and appearance are attained. SOLUTION: In the paint finish method for the automobile body which includes a process for applying the same kind of a water based paint on both members of the steel sheet part and the plastic part, a process for applying the same kind of a clear paint using an isocyanate compound as a curing agent in wet-on-wet painting and a process for curing a laminated paint film deposited on both members at the same time, the gel fraction in the cured base paint film is≥70% to <95% and the gel fraction in the cured laminated paint film is≥95% to <100%.
