<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope image filing apparatus in which operability can be improved when information regarding a patient registered with a database is retrieved. <P>SOLUTION: When the image filing apparatus is started to display a system managing screen 91 via a log-in screen 31 and a schedule list screen 41, a patient information deleting set screen 92 for setting conditions for deleting unnecessary patient information registered with the database can be set. When this setting is conducted, its set value is recorded, and at next starting time or the like of the image filing apparatus, its set value is read, corresponding patient information is deleted from the database. Accordingly, when the information regarding the patient registered with the database is retrieved, unnecessary patient information is automatically deleted, can be retrieved in a short time, and hence the operability can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
