Tiled or clinker panels (1) are mounted on the machine frame (4) using double-sided adhesive tape (3), one side of which is stuck to the frame or rear side of the panel, whilst the other side is guided into contact with another panel or frame during mounting. Preferably several horizontal strips of tape are stuck to the frame forming a vertical wall and then the rear sides of the panels are pressed against the exposed sticky side. Splicing of the joints (5) between the panels is carried out at the same time as the plates are being mounted. A frame and panel construction assembled using this method is also claimed. |
