PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball containing a solution blended polymeric composite material, and its manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: This golf ball 10 has a portion or layer which is formed from the polymeric composite material preferably containing at least two polymers having distinct microstructures. In particular, such a ball may contain a polybutadiene having at least approximate 80% cis-isomer polybutadiene which is blended with a polybutadiene having at least approximate 50% trans-isomer polybutadiene. The manufacturing method of such a golf ball is provided as well.
