PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag with a muffler function, capable of softening exhaust noise generated when a supply and exhaust valve discharges the air on the air bag side from an exhaust port, so that a user can use the air bag comfortably to get rid of his stress. SOLUTION: The supply and exhaust valve 2 is so constructed that when compressed air is supplied from an inlet 5, the valve is opened with the exhaust port 9 closed to let the air flow to an outlet 7. When the supply of compressed air from the inlet 5 is stopped, the valve is closed, and the exhaust port 9 is opened to discharge the air on the outlet 7 side from the exhaust port 9. The supply and exhaust valve 2 is fitted to the air bag by connecting the outlet 7. The supply and exhaust valve 2 is provided with a muffler mechanism 3 for deadening the sound of exhaust discharged from the exhaust port 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
