PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of inferior fastening wherein a nut and a bolt are corotated in a drive socket part of a wrench in a step of starting the fastening. SOLUTION: This corotation preventing fastener is provided with a fastening runner 1 fitted around the outer circumference of the nut B and lock means abutting on the tip of the bolt C and supporting the bolt C. The lock means is provided with a central shaft 2a disposed in the axial direction of the fastening runner 1, a rotation base plate 2b supporting the central shaft 2a, and a rotary ball 2c reversing the rotation between the fastening runner 1 and the central shaft 2a. The central shaft 2a is displaceably supported to a central hole 2b<SB>1</SB>of the rotation base plate 2b via an energizing member 2d such as a coil spring so as to energize axially and fitted in a lock hole C<SB>4</SB>to pushingly energize a counter bolt C in the pushing-back direction. The rotary ball 2c rotates the rotation base plate 2b reversely to the rotation of the fastening runner 1 while resisting a frictional force between the fastening runner 1 and the rotation base plate 2b.
