<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical and effective method for removing a toxic substance, particularly dioxins from a flue gas generated at a waste incinerator. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for the toxic substance, particularly dioxins from flue gas generated at the incinerator using an adsorbent, the method is characterized in that the adsorbent is released together with a cleaning medium in order to continuously collect the toxic substance by the adsorbent after the flue gas is cleaned by the cleaning medium.
