PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative material which is made of a styrene resin foamed molded object extremely stable in its dimension over a long period of time even under a high temperature atmosphere, and keeps beautiful appearance design effect over a long period of time without generating a crack in its surface even if coating is applied to the surface. SOLUTION: The decorative material comprises the styrenic resin foamed molded object obtained by foaming styrenic resin prefoamed particles, which is obtained by infiltrating carbon dioxide into styrenic resin particles, in a mold. Coating is applied to the whole or a part of the surface of the styrenic resin foamed molded object of which the dimensional change ratio before and after the foamed molded object is heated to 80°C for 720 hr is±0.5%.
