PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a full enclosed forging die (with back pressure applied thereto) having a stepped part in an extrusion groove for performing forging with high accuracy and low back pressure load. SOLUTION: In the full enclosed forging die 100 having a pair of dies 11 and 120 to accommodate a work 15 in which the extrusion groove 130 opened to the back side having a stepped part 120a is demarcated on a part of at least one of the pair of dies, and the back pressure 17 can be applied to the direction opposite to the extruding direction of the work 15 by inserting a back pressure plate 140 in an extrusion groove 130 from the back side, the back side of a part with the stepped part 120a of the extrusion groove 130 is formed to be a bottomed shape (120b).
