PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a printing plate to be reused without deforming it and also the printing plate to be securely mounted on a plate cylinder under a simple constitution, with regard to the printing plate of a printer and a printing plate mounting structure and method. SOLUTION: Joining means 5a and 5b which are joined to the surface of the plate cylinder 1 are provided on the back of each of both ends of the printing plate 2. In addition, the printing plate 2 is joined to the surface of the plate cylinder 1 with the help of the joining means 5a and 5b so that the chucking side end and the trailing side end of the printing plate 2 are fitted along the outer peripheral reference face of the plate cylinder 1.
