PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing the temperature drop of steel caused by the splash of roll cooling water for preventing roll burning on the steel and the generation of roll slip when performing the planetary rolling of the steel with a planetary inclined roll mill. SOLUTION: In the planetary rolling of the steel with the planetary inclined roll mill, in this planetary rolling method of the steel, by stopping the supply of the cooling water for preventing the roll burning for several seconds while the rear end part of the steel is rolled, the inviting of the temperature drop caused by splash of the cooling water on the rear end part of this steel is prevented.
