METHOD FOR TREATING CARBON-CONTAINING WASTE AND TREATMENT EQUIPMENT THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for treating carbon-containing waste capable of achieving not only the curtailment of expenditure of an adsorbent necessary in an exhaust gas treatment process but also the curtailment of expenditure accompanied by melting.

SOLUTION: The carbon-containing waste in dry distilled in an incinerator 3. The exhaust gas from the incinerator 3 in fed to an adsorption column 14 for cleaning. Residual carbon in the treatment residue is fed to the adsorption column 14 and treated again in the exhaust gas treatment process. The treated carbon-containing waster is fed to a melting furnace 3 and melt-treated.
