<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for fixing carbon dioxide, which has a high capability of absorbing and fixing not only carbon dioxide in the air but also carbon dioxide generated, e.g. from industry and social life and does not impose any significant burden on the production and disposal of the material, and to provide a method for fixing carbon dioxide using the same and a method for effectively utilizing the material after the fixing of carbon dioxide thereon. <P>SOLUTION: This protein material for fixing carbon dioxide is an aqueous solution, water dispersion or gel of protein and comprises, e.g. silk fibroin in which carbon dioxide is absorbed and fixed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
